In recent years it is normal to see newer vehicles as when reversing they activate either a proximity sensor with obstacles or a camera where everything is seen as if it were just another rear-view mirror. The latter is a system that is already mandatory for all cars that will leave the dealership from 2022, with the aim of continuing to avoid pedestrian and cyclist run-ins and accidents.
And it is that this security system is practically designed for these vulnerable actors, who on many occasions due to blind spots are not visible to drivers when parking or reversing in a maneuver. For this reason, for the authorities it is key and this is how the drivers’ unions have been appreciating it, which endorse it very positively in its use.
With these systems adaptable to any vehicle, an old car without technology acquires a modern rank
A use that until now was only reserved for those most modern cars but that, however, is already being seen in the most outdated and that did not have this technology. This can be seen in the e-commerce giant, Amazon, where these systems, perfectly attachable to any four-wheeled vehicle, have entered the best-selling categories.
Through an intelligent rear-view mirror or a movable camera, it is placed on the interior rear-view mirror that every car has, to give a broader vision in the front part. On the other hand, a rear camera is attached to the outside of the vehicle, under the hood or on the trunk handle, which will act as a parking assistant.
With both connected, the last tool is a touch screen that is placed on the control panel of the vehicle (without impeding any visibility) and transmits the vision of the cameras. In this way, the driver has a complete view of blind spots at all times, and the most developed systems also include GPS and a night vision camera.

A way to make the oldest car adapt to the most modern times, with the sole purpose of improving road safety. They also comply with all regulations and are perfectly adjustable, costing around 100 euros (there are more basic and cheaper systems, while others are more innovative and expensive).
