These are the three early retirements that benefited the most from the Escrivá reform

The modification of early retirement within the pension reform process agreed between José Luis Escrivá, Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, and the social agents includes penalties for certain early retirements but at the same time contemplates benefits for certain in cases in which the retirement age is advanced.

The new voluntary early retirements, which will begin to apply from 2024, have new reducing coefficients that, in addition to being monthly (before they were quarterly), will now be calculated on the amount of the pension and not on the regulatory base. Therefore, a new scheme is drawn around this type of retirement and the pensions that they will generate.

The system establishes different tables in which the new reduction coefficients are broken down. There are four tables that vary depending on the years previously worked by the worker. Each of them has cases in which it especially favors early retirement with respect to the previous (still in force) system.

As can be deduced from the and that the , it is in month 16 of pre-retirement in which the reduction of the coefficients has decreased the most. They are followed by months 13 and 19 in advance as the most benefited in all cases.

-For workers with less than 38 years and six months of contributions, the most favored early retirement is the one made 16 months before the ordinary retirement age, since the percentage that is reduced decreases from 12 to 7, 33%. Those who take early retirement 19 and 13 months earlier are, after them, those with better conditions (they go from 14 to 9.78% and from 10 to 5.87%).

-In the case of workers between 38 years and six months of contributions and 41 years and six months, the most favored early retirement is again that of 16 months before, which goes from 11.3 to 7%. They are followed by the tranches of 13 months (from 9.4 to 5.6%) and 19 months (from 13.1 to 9.33%). .

– Workers between 41 years and six months of contributions and 44 years and six months also have the most favored early retirement 16 months earlier, since their reduction is lowered from 10.5 to 6.67%. After her, and as in the previous cases, early retirement with 13 months (from 8.8 to 5.33%) and 19 months (from 12.3 to 8.89%).

-The workers with more than 44 years and six months of contributions also have in the 16 months the early retirement that comes out better from the reform, going from a 9.8 to a 6.33% reduction. After these early retirements, those of 13 and 19 months before: from 8.1 and 11.4 to 5.07% and 8.4%, respectively.
