This is Asador Etxebarri, the third best restaurant in the world that only has one Michelin star

They already have a winner: A top that has 50 restaurants, seven of which are Spanish. Asador Etxebarri, in third overall position in the ranking, has been the best Spanish restaurant.

In the Atxondo valley, among the beauty of Axpe and next to the Anboto slopes, is this steakhouse by chef Bittor Arguinzoniz, whose gastronomic commitment is to the ancestral technique of firing from different types of firewood. Thus, he practices a traditional cuisine innovated using the magic of the grill that “offers surprising possibilities while preserving the natural identity of the products”, explains the establishment on his website.

The menu of this steakhouse, which is prepared the same day, is based on the freshest products of the day and of the season. The local explains that it “treats them with respect and delicacy, with the language of simplicity and coherence, with feelings and humility”.
