Google Tables has arrived to try to solve these problems.

Instead of tracking notes and tasks associated with a project in different documents that all team members must manually update, Google Tables bots can help:

- Move tasks to other users’ work queueor update tasks when states are changed.
As you can see, this solution is designed to integrate with Gmail and other Google products (Drive, Sheets, Calendar…), favoring project management, IT operations, customer tracking and CRM, contracting and product development.
In fact, this is one of the differentials of Google Tables, becoming a great option for those who already use other products from the company, but also from third parties such as Zapier.
“I’ve been in the tech industry for a long time, including 10 years at Google.”, explained the general manager of Google Tables, . “And I’ve always had a hard time tracking projects.”
“Our teams stored notes and related tasks in different documents. Those documents were always out of date. We had to manually synchronize the data between them, and for the same reason, we spent a lot of time coordinating between the team members to be able to prioritize and update the statuses, spending more time keeping track of work than working”, assured the manager, and now Google Tables aims to assume those manual processes.

For now, Google Tables is only available in the United States, however, it is expected to expand internationally soon.
Now it has two plans: a free one that lets you handle up to 100 tasks Y the paid one that increases the number of tasks up to 1000 for 10 dollars a month (about 9 euros). This plan also includes support for larger attachments, more actions and advanced history, sharing, form automation, and views.
With Google Tables users can organize on a kind of virtual whiteboard all the tasks related to the project that is being worked on.
They will have the freedom to customize their interface, with the aim of displaying the description of each task to be carried out, its status and the team members who are designated to carry out each task. In addition, attachments can be added whenever required.
You can start using Google Tables by import data from Google Sheets or a .CSV file, share data with Google groups, and assign tasks to people in your Google contacts, or use one of the preloaded templates.
Google Tables bots they will perform automated actions like scheduling recurring email reminders, sending messages to a chat room when new form submissions are received, or moving a task to someone else’s work queue when the status is changed. For its part, the data itself can be presented in different ways: as grid views, records, Kanban boards and maps. With its forms you can collect data on the fly, without having to offer people access to the tables directly.
