This is the electric scooter that Lidl has put up for sale on its website for less than 400 euros

Beyond the food catalogue, the Lidl supermarket chain stands out for including peculiar electronic products on its shelves, such as kitchen machines, electric bicycles or ironing machines, among others. Now, to compete with other manufacturers of mobility products, such as Xiaomi, the food company is going to sell its own electric scooter.

This type of product has more and more users in urban areas, where it allows medium-distance journeys to be undertaken with considerable time savings. However, and before launching into the purchase of one of these Personal Mobility Vehicles (VMP), it is convenient to know the use of electric scooters. According to , four out of ten Spaniards do not know where the VMP should circulate.

Manufactured by Doc Green, the Lidl electric scooter is made of aluminum, in such a way that it is as light as possible. It weighs thirteen kilos and is capable of supporting the weight of a 100 kg person. As for its dimensions, it measures 108 centimeters high, 43 wide and 114 long.

It can be folded to take up less space and be easily transported.

As for its technical section, the most relevant is its interchangeable battery, which offers a range of 22 kilometers. This can be recharged in the home network through a conventional plug in about five hours for maximum capacity.

In the same way, its 350 W motor empowers its user to reach 25 kilometers per hour, the maximum speed allowed for this type of vehicle.

To stop, it incorporates two independent braking systems: a mechanical rear disc brake (with manual lever) and an electric front brake (with thumb lever).
