The Social Security attaches a screenshot of the message that is reaching the workers and that explains that through Import@ss you can instantly obtain the work record and other documents such as the current situation report or the contribution bases.
As , SMS is expected to be sent to 15 million Spaniards who have previously registered their mobile phone in the organization’s database. For this reason, the agency calls for peace of mind: “If you receive an SMS with this information, you can click on the link with complete peace of mind, it will direct you to Import@ss”.
Import@ss is that of Social Security and provides the citizen with a whole series of services, among which the obtaining of the working life “at the moment”, from the worker’s personal area.
To do this, the citizen must enter the ‘Work life and reports’ section, and later in the ‘Work life report’ service. In order to obtain employment, you must access with a digital certificate (), username + password, or via SMS, but for this it is essential to have Social Security.
In any of these modalities, the worker can check all the quoted periods in an updated way (), all the situations of registration and cancellation in the schemes in which they have been integrated and the total number of days contributed.

How to have work life in physical format
If you wish to have this work history in physical format, there is the additional option of requesting the sending of the work history to your home in the ‘Receive report at my home’ service. In order to enjoy this service, the citizen’s address must match the one registered in the Social Security database.
The possibility of getting a working life is not available to all citizens. in the explanatory section of Import@ss, it can only be accessed “if you are registered” or if “you have been registered at some point in your life”.
Otherwise, the citizen would have to download a different document, the , which is available to citizens who do not have a Social Security number or who, having one, have not contributed to any system of the organization.
