Waze is another map app owned by Google, which it acquired in 2013. For this reason, many of its functions have been added to the Google Maps interface; however, Waze has an interface where users can receive directions, as well as a map with real-time traffic information and road alerts.
It is usually the main application for many countries, like Costa Rica for example, where the Google Maps service is not as good as in other locations.
