Verdeliss, who has shared the evolution of her entire pregnancy on Instagram with her fans, published an image of her little girl in her arms, just after she was born. What does it mean that the baby was born swaddled? It means that she was born wrapped in her own amniotic sac. An infrequent fact that is known as veiled labor. As explained by midwife Naza Olivera Belart, author of comadronaenlaola.com. “When a baby is born with its entire bag, without breaking, the membranes or the bag, which is very elastic, it elongates (stretches), allowing the baby to come out. The placenta is still inserted in the uterus (the placenta normally does not it should shed until after the baby is born. It would run out of oxygen and the mother would bleed).”

With emotional words, Verdeliss welcomed her little girl: “There are human beings who come into this world with a mission and you, my little one, are special.”
