Viajes El Corte Inglés terminates the Erte and recovers the entire workforce

Viajes El Corte Inglés has terminated the temporary employment regulation file (ERTE) that it had and will recover the entire workforce as of May 1, as reported this Friday by the Professional Travel Union (Fasga-SPV) in a release.

In this way, the staff returns to the normal rhythm of work and to its schedules, routines and rotations, according to the source.

Viajes El Corte Inglés has decided to end the Erte for economic, technical, organizational or production reasons (Etop) in advance and communicate it to the public administration in the face of an increase in activity in all its work centers, says Fasga-SPV .

The union has requested that the Red mechanism (approved by the Government to help the travel agency sector) be applied retroactively to April 1 and the response it has received is that the company will value it, as explained in its note .

He also claims to have achieved that people with leave of absence linked to Erte and already approved, can maintain this right until next September 30.

For Fasga-SPV, all of this means that a path of recovery is beginning, which it is confident will end up reaching pre-pandemic levels.
