Web layout techniques course #7. Tabs or tabs – .com

In this seventh class of the web page layout techniques course, we will learn how to make a tabbed navigation section on our website.

We know that one of the basic issues that we must take into account when designing a website is its usability. One of the components that can help us improve it are the navigation sections by tabs, or tabs.

These sections are characterized by showing the content of the site in different tabs, navigable by the user with a simple click. Let’s see how to model them!

Done! We now have our tabbed navigation ready to go. As you can see, the advantage of these elements is that it is not necessary to change the page to access one content or another, but everything flows within the same environment.

At this moment, our user can already move between the different tabs with a click. These show interaction thanks to the javascript code that we have incorporated. Remember that you have all the code available to download on this same page.

The tabs can take many shapes and be in various locations, such as either at the top, or on the side, as you can see in the . On this occasion we propose to create a small navigation of 5 upper tabs.

And as always, if you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the intranet support form, tab support 😉 See you in the next lesson!

Remember that if you will have access to everybody the courses and you can also enjoy everything from .
