Pensioners are very close to receiving their pension money for the month of May. As every month, and especially as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, banks are advancing the payment of these benefits by a few days.
It establishes that the payment of pensions must be made between the first business day of the month and, at most, the fourth calendar day. Thus, before the 4th of each month, these amounts must be in the pensioners’ accounts.
However, the custom already established in the entities is to pay them a few days before, anticipating the pensions around the 22nd, 23rd, 24th or 25th, except for changes determined by the calendar and the days that fall on the weekend. There are certain differences between banks.

BBVA
This bank usually pays pensions on the 25th.
CaixaBank
This bank pays pensions on Monday, May 24.
Bankia
As a result of the merger with CaixaBank, it will also pay pensions on Monday, May 24.

This bank will pay the pensions on Tuesday, May 25.
ENG
The entity will also pay the payments on Tuesday, May 25.
Unicaja
The Malaga bank will pay the pensions on Monday, May 24.
cajamar
The entity will facilitate the payment of pensions on Tuesday, May 25, to pensioners who have previously requested it.
