The Community of Madrid will deflate the sections of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) for Income 2022 up to 4.1%. The Madrid region will do so in the regional income tax and will have negative consequences in terms of collection while slightly reducing the tax burden on its citizens.

The measure was announced by the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, when she was presented as regional president of the Popular Party and was confirmed just a few days ago after the debate on the State of the Region was held, although at that time no information was provided. figures.

After the publication by the National Statistics Institute (INE) of the Quarterly Labor Cost Survey, in which the Community of Madrid decided to deflate personal income tax by exactly the same percentage.

This tax reduction will be accompanied in the next income tax year with a reduction of half a point of the applicable regional rate. It must be remembered that personal income tax has two types of tax: the state one, which is determined by the State, and the regional one, which is decided by each community. -The second tranche of personal income tax will go from 12,960.46 euros to 18,433.19 euros per year and will have a tax of 10.70%. The full fee will be 1,972.35 euros.

-The third tranche of income tax will go from 18,433.20 euros to 34,360.49 euros per year and will have a tax of 12.80%. The full fee will be 4,398.14 euros.

-The fourth section of personal income tax will go from 34,360.50 euros to 55,601.89 euros per year and will have a tax of 17.40%. The full fee will be 9,674.72 euros.

-The fifth and last section of personal income tax will start at 55,601.90 euros per year and will have a tax of 20.50%.
