The Internet is full of kittens, puppies, lots of love, sweet images and very funny videos that will brighten your life. But it also has proof of the dark side of humanity, a world that is full of violence, disease, weird and disgusting things, and things you’d rather never know existed.
This is a list of things that you should never search on Google because you will get unpleasant surprises. If you are brave, and you do it, it is at your own risk.
1.- Ascaris lumbricoides
Ascaris lumbricoides is a parasitic nematode of the small intestine of man, very frequent in underdeveloped countries. This worm is also called an intestinal worm because of its elongated shape that resembles an earthworm.
2.- Elephantiasis
Elephantiasis is a syndrome characterized by the enormous enlargement of some parts of the body, especially the lower extremities and the external genital organs. It can be caused by various persistent inflammatory diseases, caused by various spirochetes, treponemes and parasites, especially in hot countries of the filarial group, with more than 250 million cases registered until 2007.
3.- Vomit
Vomiting is a reaction of our body to certain internal or external discomfort. Vomiting is a way to release everything that makes us sick, and in theory, it’s a good thing because afterwards we feel better. However, seeing images of vomit is so unpleasant that you will vomit for sure.
4.- Leukoplakia
Leukoplakia is an oral lesion that histologically presents some dyskeratosis, such as: papillomatosis; hyperkeratosis; and acanthosis, whose main characteristic is to be a whitish plaque that normally cannot be removed by scraping, it is part of the epithelium, and it is growing.
5.- Blue Waffle Disease
It is a condition that affects women only. This is an infection that affects the vagina making it look a grotesque blue-green and purple. However, there is no medical proof that this condition exists and it is probably a parody and fake disease, but will you dare to Google it?
6.- Lotus foot
It refers to the feet of elderly Chinese women who have deformed feet as a result of the tiny, stiff shoes they were forced to wear. Small, dainty feet are a source of pride in China, but after a lifetime of stunting their normal growth, feet become truly deformed.
7.- Bald rat
The bald rat, or Egyptian rat, is another variety of rats that exist in the world. However, it is unpleasant to see its furry characteristic: the absence of hair. Better not see it for yourself.
8.- Trypophobia
It is one of the recently discovered phobias. It is about the chills, sweating, anxiety and weakness that some people suffer from seeing images made up of many circles or balls gathered together. Many people do not even know that they have this phobia until they see the images. Are you sure you want to investigate if you suffer from trypophobia?
9.- Smoker’s lungs
Smoking is a disease that kills thousands of people around the world every day. When you see the images of a smoker’s lung you understand why it is deadly. The lungs really wear out over the years in an irreversible action.
10.- Loxosceles reclusa spider bite
Better known as “fiddler spider”, it is an insect that lives in northern Mexico. It is a species of araneomorphic spider of the Sicariidae family that usually hides in cracks and corners that are difficult to access, hence its name. Many consider it to be the most dangerous of the Loxosceles spiders, since its bite frequently produces severe systemic reactions and even death.
