118. Martial arts with Nacho Serapio

Today we speak with Nacho Serapio, world champion of martial arts in different disciplines, who will tell us how he created his magazine and brand.

Although his story and his experience is already a gift, today’s guest has brought us another one. Thank you very much! He has been a nine times world martial arts champion and has created a website where you sell products and services related to them.

As a child, fascinated by comics, he wanted to be a superhero, so he decided to become a ninja. His parents encouraged him to learn a trade instead of betting on academic training. His other great passion is graphic design.

Later he opened his own school and became a stuntman: his first appearance on television was in the well-known series “Family Doctor”. He stopped teaching and opened a YouTube channel: The Inner Warrior. In his videos he explains how he gets in shape to compete.

Initially, it took him a long time to create each number, although he has been picking up speed over time. His Dragonz brand sells specialized material: tatami mats, kimonos, gloves, protections, competition weapons, trophies, nutrition…

To finance his brand, he made a business plan that the banks rejected, but for which his parents decided to bet. He adapted the magazine to the digital format to give it a worldwide reach, since the physical format is only distributed in Spain.
