Adidas is inspired by The Simpsons for its new sneakers and releases three models by Krusty, Apu and Moe

Adidas continues to reinvent the market for its sneakers in search of attracting more customers to increase its high portfolio and this time it has focused on one of the most historic series on television. The Simpsons give color to the most innovative footwear of the German firm, although they do not do it with any of the characters of the mythical family but with Krusty, Apu and Moe. First the clown, in a line that was already released in January, and then the store manager and the bar manager, who are expected to hit the market later this spring, these three lively friends hope to be the last gold mine of the mark of the three stripes.

Lately, Adidas has not stopped releasing eye-catching items by name and design to boost its business affected by the pandemic. If already in the last days it has been warned of the great demand of the , this time the shots go towards the lovers of the series.

Who hasn’t heard of The Simpsons? This seems to be the question that has been asked from the German company to look at three of its characters that have given the most play throughout almost 40 years of history. Thus, with the ZX 10000 Krusty Burger they opened a ban that will be completed in the coming months with the Superstar Fresisuis and the ZX 1000 Flameado de Moe.

ZX 10000 Krusty Burger

Krusty, through his popular Krusty Burguer where the inhabitants of Springfield go to eat the best hamburgers in the city, was in charge of giving color to the first Adidas shoe from The Simpsons. With a design that imitates the colors of the establishment, cream is the base of the footwear that superimpose suede plates in green, pink, red, brown and vanilla.

In addition, to give a sporty touch, the white sole accompanies a toothed brown sole that has been used so much in recent years. Finally, the details of the shoe are crowned by the company’s classic logo in the bluish green of Krusty’s hair and the Torsion logo, a nod to Adidas’s past, on the side.

For 130 euros, the shoes came out in January being a bestseller. So much so, although Adidas is expected to add more stock to the first of its Simpsons jewels soon.

Superstar Fresisuis

The second of the ‘bombs’ is inspired by Apu and the most mythical product of his badulaque, the fresisuis. A drink that is all the rage among the children of Springfield and that this time will dye the shoe a sweet green like the sugar that the concoction contains.

The item details a large white oval on the side that mimics a fresisuis glass, Adidas’ signature three stripes in orange, and pink across the heel or laces to reference the drink’s flavors. A shake that appears enameled on the shoe as well as the symbol of the Kwik-E-Mart (name of Apu’s establishment).

Still without a starting price, it is expected to go along the lines of the Krusty Burger, its web premiere will be throughout spring. Any lover of The Simpsons who wants to do with her should be attentive, seeing the success of her predecessor.

Moe’s Flamed ZX 1000

Finally, although with an estimated release date similar to the fresisuis model, there is the one that is inspired by another of the drinks that causes the most furor in Springfied: Moe’s Flameado. That alcoholic luxury that the popular waiter made a success in sales, after stealing the recipe from Homer, dyes the shoe to try to intoxicate Adidas consumers.

Thus, the most striking thing about the shoe is the flame on the side, which gives a special touch as if it were flamed, and the purple that spreads throughout the shoe, in the style of the drink’s star ingredient cough syrup. In addition, the three stripes of the brand are dyed orange, as is the back of the shoe to go in line with the flames and a graphic of Moe Szyslak’s famous concoction is crowned on the tongue.
