Whether because of its controversy that raises so many headaches among hotel establishments from all over the world, either as a result of its continuous Airbnb is becoming a basic reference to understand how Internet business models can disrupt entire economic sectors. By now, , and, now, still growing through an app Airbnb that makes it much easier for its users to find accommodation in (almost) any country in the world.
Airbnb App: A world-class design
The design of the Airbnb app is spectacularbetting on large and evocative images from the initial screen, which make the experience of using the application truly attractive. In fact, the use of these huge photographs also extends to records of each one of the lodgings, in which the users will be able to find all the information (availability, map with its location, available services, host information, comments from other users…) that they need to decide whether to rent or not. Of course, the app also makes it easy for users to get on Contact with their future hosts. These good feelings are extended by being able to resort to a very complete (and useful) section of frequent questions.
In general, it is easy use the Airbnb app: a general search engine allows the traveler to locate accommodation in the city to visit, the results of which will be displayed more efficiently thanks to the presence of multiple and varied filtersdepending on the type of accommodation (private room, shared…), the price range or the equipment offered (number of bedrooms, television, bathroom, WiFi…)
Of course, not everything is positive on the Airbnb mobile app (or Airbnb app). Thus, despite having some very useful maps to locate the different accommodations, the app lacks an efficient service of geolocation that shows the closest available places to the user’s position. In addition, in some cases the general search engine does not accept some city names that do not appear in their catalog of destinations (basically small cities) not even to show results close to them.
