“Amazon has shown great interest in having this product in its catalogue. Until now, the light bulb was only possible to purchase through the company’s website iwop.es and thanks to the agreement with the online store, it is planned to promote the commercialization of the iWop bulb, throughout Europe”, explains the company through a statement.
The iWop bulb is “a different production model based on sustainability and the manufacture of products without a predetermined duration and always repairable. Symbolically it represents the idea, the invention, the beginning of a new era characterized by respect for our planet” , indicates the company on its website.
According to the product description, the duration of the iWop bulb has an average durability of 150,000 hours compared to between 700 and 1,500 hours for incandescent models, between 700 and 4,000 hours for low consumption models and between 1,000 and 15,000 hours. those of conventional LED technology.
The company highlights the possibility of repairing the bulb itself thanks to the replacement of the modular elements that may have been damaged by a fall or manipulation, and that is that “its parts are replaceable, having a rigid structure, the body of the bulb”, Likewise, the model can be updated by replacing those elements that, over the years, have technological substitutes that increase energy efficiency and performance.
