Are you able to endure a month without Internet in exchange for 22,000 euros? This company throws you the challenge

The number one coffee liqueur brand in the world, Kahlúa, will award 22,000 euros to a couple who manages to spend a whole month without the Internet or social networks via mobile, computer, tablet or any electronic device.

This test is part of the ‘Stir up your routine’ challenge that the brand has launched with the aim of making people aware of the amount of time we spend in front of screens instead of investing it with our most darlings.

“Screen routines have come to dominate our daily lives, but they also take away quality time from our relationships. That’s why Kahlúa wants to help couples break away from the mundane and inject more fun into everyday life together,” points out the company.

How to take part

For those who wish to participate, they can do so through the Kalhúa website until January 2, the deadline to register. This new challenge will begin on January 16 at 6:30 p.m. and end on February 15 at 6:30 a.m.

The couples who want to do it will have to send a video in which they will have to explain how they met and what is the reason why they want to participate in this challenge. During the 30 days of the challenge, they will be provided with a box to store their electronic devices and a kit with different activities to entertain themselves, such as an initiation to feng shui and culinary challenges.

At the moment, the challenge will be for residents of the United States over the age of 21. In that country, more than half of people spend an average of five to six hours a day using their mobile phones, according to a study referenced by the liquor brand.
