In the eighth class of the Audacity course we are going to see how to record and edit a podcast step by step, from start to finish.

Today Audacity is one of the most widely used tools for recording and producing podcasts. From recording our audio, going through the control of dynamics, adding our intro music and background music and everything we have to take into account to achieve professional results with our podcast.

So we are going to see how we can record, edit and process our podcast with voice, music or effects with Audacity. Let us begin!

As you have seen, it is really very easy to achieve great results with Audacity. We have recorded and edited our entire podcast with some of the tools that this fantastic audio editing software offers us.

It is clear, then, that this free software really offers us many tools to facilitate all these types of tasks and achieve great results. And once again, it is worth insisting, as we have commented in class and earlier in the course, on controlling the level of our signal in order to avoid possible problems.

As always, if you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the support form of the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson, in which we will see how we can mix with this tool. Until then!
