Bookings for WooCommerce is an official Woothemes extension for WooCommerce that allows us to turn our eCommerce into a powerful reservation manager for professionals, restaurants, hotels or rentals.
Operation is as easy as simply selecting the “bookable” product type when creating one. Next, we indicate whether the reservation is going to be for several days (for example, for hotels), for one day (for example, for restaurants) or even if it is for a specific time (for example, a masseur).
We also have the option of indicating the number of people. This is often useful for hotels, apartments and for restaurants, to indicate the number of attendees. And it even lets us create different types of them. For example adults and children. It also allows us the option of extra additions. For example, in hotels we can define a price for accommodation and breakfast, half board, full board, parking, or any extra service. The same for renting bikes or cars, for example, where you can add extras such as “with a guide”. In short, imagination to power.
Another utility is that it allows us to create reservations manually from WordPress, in case we want to make the reservation for someone, for example, who asks us for an appointment at the store, or calls us by phone.
The system automatically sends an email to the client as soon as they make the payment, and offers us a locator and a complete management of checking and checkouts to mark those who arrive and those who leave.
