Is it advisable to use .com.es domains with ñ?
We do not recommend registering domains with special characters as it can cause performance problems in related services, such as email accounts. Although the domain is registered with the ñ, it needs to be translated into a different format, and it will be an IDN domain. For example, the domain españa.com translates into xn--espaa-rta.com, and it will be as it appears for services, such as email accounts.
Are there .com.es domains reserved or that cannot be registered?
There is one that can only be registered in case of accrediting legal documentation. It includes terms related to State institutions, officially accredited international organizations, and place names that coincide with the official name of territorial public administrations.
Can I assign the data of my company in the Whois contacts to the .com.es domain?
The owner contact of the .com.es domains can be a company or individual. However, the administrative, technical and billing contacts may only have the data of a natural person or individual, not a company.
