Camplus inaugurates its first university residence in Seville with 211 places

Camplus, the largest Italian group specializing in student and guest accommodation – through university colleges, apartments, residences and houses – takes another step in its international expansion in Spain with the opening of the Camplus Sevilla university residence.

The new residence hall, located at calle Tramontana 1-3, is located in the heart of the Reina Mercedes campus and allows easy access on foot, by bicycle or by public transport to other university campuses in the city

The residence, which has already opened the registration period for the 2021/22 academic year, has 211 places distributed in 196 single, double rooms and two-bedroom apartments.

In addition to the rest areas, Camplus Sevilla offers numerous common leisure and study areas, dining room, multipurpose rooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym… and includes cleaning services and weekly linen change, full board from Monday to Friday and 24-hour reception . All this with the aim of “offering a differential experience for residents that allows them to feel at home, with a range of activities that can complement their years of study”, says Ricardo Amillategui, director of Camplus Sevilla.

Camplus, is the largest provider of accommodation for university students in Italy. With more than 35 years of experience, the group has 35 establishments spread across 13 Italian cities and, for the last four years, has been present in Spain with a residence in Pamplona. The company has more than 200 employees, invoices 38 million euros, manages more than 7,700 beds a year and has an investment of 500 million euros in real estate.

The internationalization of Camplus began in 2018 with the management of a residence in Pamplona. Now, with the new opening in Seville, the company reinforces its growth strategy with a focus on Spain, as a priority market, to develop its model of residences.

The objective of Camplus is to position itself in the Spanish market as a benchmark accommodation in terms of service and quality of facilities. The group seeks to settle in large cities that attract university students such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Granada, Salamanca, Bilbao and Malaga, with the aim of opening and managing 6 student residences in 2023, and reaching 12 in 2025.
