Check multiple emails from Gmail – .com

In this tutorial we are going to see how to configure Gmail to receive the emails that arrive to our corporate mail or to other accounts that we may have.

Manage accounts in Gmail centrally

As you know, Gmail is the free email service offered by Google. It is very popular and has a simple interface, so many people feel comfortable using it.

So if this is your case, you may want to configure the account to be able to receive the emails that are sent to you by corporate mail. This is very useful as it saves time managing emails, as well as reducing the space used on hosting.

Gmail offers us the possibility to receive emails from other accounts, up to five in total, and also to respond by sending emails as if we were doing it from corporate email. We can see all of this in him. But in this case we are going to see how to consult from Gmail those emails that reach other emails. Go for it!.

Get data from POP server

The first thing that we will have to do before going to the Gmail configuration, will be to obtain the data of the POP server through which we will receive the emails. These data are provided by the company where we have contracted the corporate mail. In this case we are going to see where to locate them if we use cPanel.

First we will have to access the control panel of our hosting and, once the session has started, click on the option “Email accounts”. When we are inside we must go to the specific account that we want to configure in Gmail, and click on “Connect devices”.

Three options will appear under the email, “Set up mail client” and “Set up calendars and contacts” and “Close”. We must click on the first one.

Once here, we will see several sections. The one we are interested in is called “Mail Client Manual Settings”. Within this section we have two others, one with the SSL configuration, and another without it. For greater security we are going to look at the information that appears in “Secure SSL/TSL Settings” which is recommended.

As we can see, we are provided with the username, which matches the email, the password, which would be the same as the email we want to configure, the incoming and outgoing servers.

In this case we are going to take the information from the incoming server, since we want to receive emails from the account, and more specifically we will look at the port used by the POP3 server.

Each case may be slightly different, keep in mind that both the username, the password and the server will be different from what we see here. Now that we have the data we need, we can proceed to make the settings in Gmail.

Configure Gmail to check corporate account emails

The next step will be to log in to , and click on the roulette icon at the top right of the screen. Once there we choose the “Settings” option.

Once open, we will see several options. We have to click on “Accounts and import”, and then go to the “Check mail from other accounts” section. While there we will click on “Add an email account” to start the process, we will have to carry out several steps.

Next, a window will open in which we will have to write the email address that we want to add in Gmail, then click on “Next” and, from the two available options, we will choose “Import emails from my other account (POP3)” . Click on “Next” again.

This will bring up the configuration window. Here we will have to write the username, password, POP server (POP3) and the port to be used. All this information is what we obtained in the previous section, we simply have to place it here.

As you can see in the image, the username must be filled in with the full email, this is very important, otherwise it will not work and it will throw an error. The same will happen if we enter the password or some other information wrong.

In addition, if we want, we can mark any of the available options that allow us to leave a copy of the message on the server, always use a connection (SSL), label incoming messages in a specific way or archive them, omitting them in the Inbox. Of all these, the first two options are highly recommended, so we advise you to select them.

Well, to go to the next step we simply have to click on “Add account” and we will be finishing the process.

In this last window, and after having correctly added our account, we can choose two options. The first would be to continue with the configuration to be able to send messages from Gmail as if we were doing it from our corporate account, that is, to fully centralize the process of sending and receiving messages from Gmail.

This would save time since we would not have to be entering and leaving several sessions to answer the emails correctly. If you are interested in doing so, you can follow the steps that will appear by selecting the option “Yes, I want to be able to send messages as hello@your-domain”, or take a look at

In this case we are going to leave it here, so to choose the option “No (you can change this option later”, and we will click on “Finish”.

And we already have it! As you can see the account has been fully configured. From now on, every time an email arrives at the corporate email that we have indicated here, it will also arrive at Gmail.

Summary and conclusion

Gmail offers us the possibility of checking the mail that arrives at other accounts, and also of sending it as if we were doing it from them, as we see in .

In this case we have seen how we can check from Gmail the mail we receive in a corporate account. To do this, we have first obtained the data from the POP server of the account with a personalized domain, and then we have made the settings in Gmail.
