Checkbox to accept privacy policy

Hello Ramon,

The easiest way to create the “Privacy Policy” element in your BreezingForm form is the following:

1. In BreezingForms, on the form in question, “New”
2. In the right block we select “Selection Box”
3. Title: Politics
4. Name: policy
5. Value: Yes
6. Label: Here you write the text you want to be displayed, taking into account that it must be formatted in HTML.

I have read and accept the

This text is the same: I have read and accept the “Privacy Policy”

How to format it to HTML? simple, you access the following url:

And in the box “ASCII text to convert” you insert the normal and accented text that you want to show in the form as indicated and below you click on “Convert to HTML” and the result that is shown in the lower box is the one you should enter in the “Label” field.

How to link it to the article you have created for the Privacy Policy?

7. Suppose your article, in the Article Manager, has the ID 55 (right column of the articles).
8. If you look at the text of section 6 “I have read….” there is a relative inserted url “index.php ? option = com_content & view = article & id = 55” that points to said article, because where it says “article & id = 55” is where you should put the ID of your Privacy Policy article that you should already have created.

If you use “friendly urls” it could be something like “es/component/content/article/51-lopd/152-politica-de-privacidad.html” if it doesn’t work for you, we see the url go from relative to absolute.

9. In the “Script” tab of the “Policy” field that we are creating in the last option, mark “Validation Script”.
10. Type: Bookcase
11. Message: You must accept the Privacy Policy (This message will be displayed in a pop-up window if the user does not select it and send the form).
12. Script: FF::ff_checked
13. Save

Now the field will appear at the top of the design box, to move it, select the “Policy” field created in the field list of the left box and in the design box, move it with the arrows to its correct location . You can also select the element with the mouse and hold it to the desired position and then use the arrows to micro-adjust the position.

Once you position them don’t forget to click on the “Save” box below the arrows to keep the new position, which will add the coordinates to the “Policy” field.

With this you should have something similar to the second screenshot attached.

Any questions, consult! 🙂

Note: Some codes have been separated with “spaces” so that they are not truncated or deleted by the Firewall. 🙁

Cheers
