Click-to-call in the content network and Apps – .com

It seems that the “click to call” functionality (call button, click-to-call button) AdWords ads is having significant success. The CTR has improved from 5 to 30% in advertisers who have used it. Consequently, the guys at Google have decided to expand their reach.

From now on, it has activated the service to the content network and for Apps. In other words, it is now possible to call the business not only in search ads, but also in context-targeted ads on any website that incorporates AdSense. Of course, instead of seeing the phone number, we see a call icon. The point is that an increase in CTR has been noticed even in the ad itself, to go to the advertiser’s website. According to Google, this new type of ad is liked by both users and advertisers.
