Display Course in Google Ads #7. YouTube Ads campaign – .com

In the seventh class of the Google Display Ads course we see advertising on YouTube, when we should use it and how we can create our first campaign.

It was recently said that video would be the medium of the future, but it turns out that we are already in it. The YouTube search engine is the second most used worldwide and is a very interesting platform for targeting certain audiences, not to mention the power of moving advertising or its ability to tell stories.

So let’s see what points we must take into account for the selection of the format that best suits our project. Let us begin!

Clever! As you can see, we have different types of formats, since it is one of the strengths of YouTube ads: Ads for the cover of, ads at the beginning of the video, ads during the video, ads in the search engine, or ads on websites of the display network. Endless possibilities!

In the second part of the class we will see how to create the first campaign. The interface is very similar to what we used to see when we ran search or display campaigns.

In this case we will do a discovery campaign, but we will also see where we should select if we want to do an in-stream or video discovery ad. Go for it!

And we already have our first Youtube ad up and running. For homework, we’ll go over the different ad formats on YouTube and create our first video campaign.

As you can see, in this case the most differential part has been the creation of the ad itself, in which we have been able to see where we want the ad to be seen and where we can have a preview of it.

As always, if you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the support form of the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson! 🙂
