Better slow but sure: Twitter has announced the launch of new reactions with emojis in its direct messages, a new feature where users will be able to send a quick reply to any message within a private conversation thread.
This is how the new reactions with emojis on Twitter work
Just like Twitter: “It’s quick and easy to add an emoji reaction to a direct message, whether it’s a text message or includes files like videos or photos.”

To add a reaction, click the ❤️➕ icon that appears when you hover over the message on web or double tap the message on mobile and select an emoji from the pop-up.

To add a reaction, you just have to hover over the message and click the emoji reactions button (the heart next to the + icon) or if you’re on mobile, double-tap the message, and you’ll be able to select the available emojis that the pop-up will display.
As you can see, Twitter’s range of emoji reactions mirrors that of Facebook, and includes laughter, surprise, sadness, love, fire, like, and dislike reactions.
But, if you have sent a reaction by mistake, don’t worry, because you can undo them at any timeremoving itself from the message for all participants in the private conversation.
you can also click or tap a reaction to see which of the conversation participants has reacted to a message, plus all users in the conversation will receive a notification every time a user adds a new reaction to a message.
