Fake News links AMLO’s son with Koenigsegg CCXR Special One crash in CDMX

Through social networks, false news was spread that links one of the sons of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador with the crash of a Koenigsegg CCXR Special One car in Mexico City.

The journalist Juan Omar Fierro published on his social networks a screenshot with the false news, in which he links to the UNO TV portal.

“Son of AMLO crashes a luxury car unique in the world in CDMX,” reads the headline of the news.

“If you think it was the Russians, that we are already Venezuela and that the revocation of the mandate is the same as re-election, this news is for you,” criticized Juan Omar Fierro.

If you believe that it was the Russians, that we are already Venezuela and that the revocation of the mandate is the same as re-election, this news is for you.

The crash did happen

The truth is that the car accident from which the photograph that accompanies the news is obtained did occur in the capital of the country, but it does not link any of the children of the head of the Executive.

The car, valued at 30 million pesos, crashed in the Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood last Sunday.

A video shows how the vehicle hit a post, as it was being driven at excessive speed.

This was the crash this weekend in Paseo de la Reforma of Special One, a vehicle that previously belonged to the Al-Thani royal family of Qatar and unique in the world, with an approximate value of 30 million pesos. (????)
