Filmora Course #7. Effects and elements – .com

In the seventh class of the Filmora course we will see the elements and the split screen effect to visually improve our video editions.

In the previous class we saw how by using titles and transitions we could visually enhance our videos. Now it is the turn of the elements that will allow us to add small animations and effects to our video clips. We will also learn about one of the options that are very unique to Filmora: split screen.

In this class we are going to know in depth how we can add and what the elements are. As well as create a very striking effect using several video clips simultaneously with the split screen. Go for it!

Do you realize how these effects and elements improve the overall quality of the final result? We have seen how we have a good number of different types of elements with which we can add many animations and small effects that will give our videos more life.

We can add any of the extensive list that we have within the application itself, and we can change the duration and modify some aspects of some of them. We can also obtain additional elements through the FilmStock website.

But if we don’t find any that fit our requirements, we can import external elements such as animated gifs, small videos with alpha channel. Interaction with these elements is just like any imported clip we’ve worked with so far. We can also change the properties of the elements to change their behavior and even add entrance and exit animations.

We’ve also known about the split screen effect that has been around since the earliest versions of Filmora. It is a kind of collage that we can make with several video clips or images to give it a unique effect. We have a multitude of different types of distribution and we can even edit the duration of the split screen effect and choose which part of each video clip we want to show.

As a homework, we are going to encourage ourselves to try the different elements, surely we will find some that fit perfectly with the style of video that we want to make. We will also be testing the split screen option using some of the video clips we are using.
