This concrete shelter was built in 1969, when the Cold War was in full swing, by a group of engineers belonging to the United States Army. But in 2012 the concrete bunker underwent a complete remodeling that has turned it into an underground mansion with incredible features. The underground bunker in question is located in a space of 1,300 square meters and consists of 12 rooms with 12 bathrooms, a cinema room, a large and modern kitchen and other slightly more unique spaces. For example, inside the mansion there are anti-pollution showers, a first aid room, and even a fairly new outside air filter system. All this, moreover, created inside a thick layer of underground concrete that is capable of withstanding natural catastrophes of various kinds, as well as an explosion of up to 20 kilotons.
Outside the bunker there is a 90 square meter terrace where a large weapons arsenal is located. Obviously all this is designed to protect yourself from a possible extreme situation. Thanks to the impressive capacity of this bunker mansion, it is possible to accommodate several families inside.
All this recently went on sale for a value of 16.5 million euros. A very high price is what you have to pay to acquire the safest luxury home in the world. Although obviously, the ideal would be to never have to resort to protecting yourself inside this luxurious mansion, created to withstand the biggest and most tremendous disasters that can be imagined. The zombie invasions of American movies and series could well have a bunker with similar characteristics to save humans from all misfortunes.
