The 2020 edition of Hot Sale is over and we are very happy to tell you that the cloud stores broke the record in sales and billing again!
During Hot Sale 2019, the stores reached 79,553 transactions and, this year, They exceeded 280,000! This means an increase of over 252% compared to the previous year. And the same thing happened with billing, which grew by 618% if we compare 2019 vs. 2020.
We also set records in some stores that they billed over $25,000,000 in just 24 hours. Incredible numbers! Furthermore, we found that there was peaks of more than 1 sale per second (yes, you read right, per second!) and 53% of them were shipped with free shipping.
The surprise of this edition was, probably due to the changes in consumption habits, the exponential growth in sales of the Food and beverage segment (1159% vs. 2019)followed by Home and garden (538%), Health and beauty (425%), Electronics and computers (415%) and Clothing (339%).
And another interesting fact is that several brands started with the promotions of Hot Sale hours before the official start of the event. The cloud stores that started between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, exceeded $35,000,000 in turnover!
