Illustrator course #6: Create icons with the pen – .com

In today’s class we will see the importance of the pen in Illustrator, probably the most essential tool of this software.

6 – Creating our icons with Illustrator

The best way to learn how the pen works is by using it. We will combine it with lines and circles to create our own icons. We will also use the scissors tool and we will see how to join strokes to cause them to stop being separate shapes and become “a whole”.

We will also review some key elements and highlight the importance of working with zooms and their keyboard shortcuts.

So, we already see that with little, we can do a lot, and that less is more.

A personal piece of advice: Don’t despair if you don’t control some strokes, since at first it’s quite difficult, but it’s all a matter of practice. A few hours with pen, shapes, and strokes, and you can unleash the fantastic potential of Illustrator.

We also recommend you take a look at the class in which we see more uses and exercises to use this wonderful tool. And if you have any questions, you can go to the Intranet form. See you in the next class, with more vectors, lines and geometric shapes!

Remember that if you will have access to everybody the courses and you can also enjoy everything from .
