This futuristic design by Alex Hogrefe aims to become a reality very soon. It is a house embedded, literally, in a cliff in the west of Iceland. The natural stone of the mountain would collect part of the house, which would remain completely attached to it as if it had fallen from the sky. The walls are placed taking advantage of the rock and the huge windows are the most striking feature of a home that would surely be a mountain paradise for some wealthy pockets.
The place is a rugged Icelandic mountain. Therefore, it is an environment of difficult access, which would make the construction of this unique house quite difficult. However, it seems that the architect has studied all the possibilities and has verified the feasibility of the project. The walls are placed irregularly, with unexpected projections. In addition, it is a housing project on several floors, made up of large glass panels, which will guarantee stunning views of the mountains and the sea of the Icelandic coast.
At the moment, no execution date has been provided for this new design by the eccentric architect, but surely more than one of his famous clients have already had their eye on such a unique and personal house.
