Normality is recovering as vaccination progresses. Thus, this year it is expected that the Imserso trips will resume normally, a program that had to be completed. The return date has not yet been established, but the access procedure will be the usual one.
The start of the 2021/2022 season is scheduled for the end of September or the beginning of October: “At the moment we cannot specify the start date and, therefore, the marketing of the trips has not started.” The organization explains on its website that, when the green light is given to the process, “it will call the places corresponding to each program in advance” and that “once the corresponding procedures are resolved, the people who meet the conditions and can participate will receive the documentation at your home.”

Who can be a user of Imserso trips
Currently, the people who can access this type of travel are:
1. Be a retirement pensioner of the Spanish public pension system.
2. Being a widow’s pensioner fifty-five years of age or older.
3. Being a pensioner for other reasons or recipient of benefits or unemployment benefits, with 60 years of age or older.
4, Be a holder or beneficiary of the Social Security System, with sixty-five years of age or more.
5. Being an emigrant returned to Spain and a pensioner of the public Social Security System of the country from which they have returned.
6. Spaniards residing abroad who meet the requirements in the previous point to participate in the program. Residents of Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland, may process it at the corresponding Labor, Migration and Social Security Departments.
7. Spanish emigrants of origin who have returned to Spain, provided they are pensioners of the public Social Security systems of the country or countries to which they emigrated.
Which companion can enjoy the Imserso trips

What destinations and prices does the Imserso program offer?
The specifications for the Imserso trips for this new season have not yet been published. However, last year the following travel modalities were offered with the following prices:
– Peninsular Coast Zone: stays in areas of the Peninsular Coast of 15, 10 and 8 days in Andalusia, Murcia, the Valencian Community and Catalonia. Prices range from 200 to 400 euros depending on the number of days and if transport is included.
– Insular Coast Zone: stays of 15, 10 and 8 days in areas of the Insular Coast (Canary and Balearic Islands). The prices are a little higher than the previous ones.
