In the fourth class of the intermediate course on donations in WordPress we are going to see how to offer the option of generating and downloading a PDF receipt.
Sometimes, due to legal requirements or to deduct the donation, donors will need a document or proof that goes beyond the simple confirmation email of the transaction.
We are going to see how to configure a receipt with all the necessary data, how to select the ones we want to show, where, and even the design of a receipt that can be downloaded in PDF from your user account. Let us begin!
You see it! Easy, simple and fast. Our donors can download the PDF from their email, user account or donation confirmation page. We can also choose the type of template for it, or create one from scratch.
I recommend using the simple option with the minimal template, modifying those fields that you do not need to use and placing the official logo of your company. Do several tests, and adapt it according to your interests 🙂
