But beyond convenience, we must see this new option as a “Personal Hotspot”, that is, we have a Internet access point that we always carry with usand that will appear in the list of “wireless networks” of any device that can connect via WiFi (basically laptops and mobile devices).
This possibility just saved me €100 in the purchase of the iPad2, since now I do not need it to be 3G, because wherever I go with my iPad, I will also take my iPhone. So, using the personal hotspot, I already have access. In addition, I save having to make duplicate mini SIMs, or pay another data rate.
