LIVE | Catalonia lives a new day of strike called by pro-independence unions

Groups of pickets have kept a total of 33 sections of road on 15 Catalan highways, including the AP-7 and the main accesses to Barcelona, ​​closed since after 10:00 a.m., due to the general strike called by the Intersindical-CSC union , as reported by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT).

Among the highways affected by the cuts are the AP-7, in several sections of Barcelona, ​​Tarragona and Girona, the ring roads of Barcelona, ​​and, in the accesses to the Catalan capital, the B-23 in Molins de Rei, the C- 15 in Vilafranca and Sant Quintí de Mediona, the C-16 in Sallent and Terrassa, the C-17 in Aiguafreda and Tagamanent, the C-25 in Vic and Artes, and the C-32 in Sitges.

In Tarragona, the AP-2, in La Bisbal del Penedès, the AP-7, in L’Ampolla, and the N-340, in Alcanar and Amposta, are blocked, while in Girona the pickets cut traffic on the AP-7 , in Vilafant and Riudellos de la Selva, the N-152, in Puigcerdà, and the N-II, in Vilamalla.
