McDonald’s changes the bread of its hamburgers and the way of preparing them

The McDonald’s restaurant chain, with more than 550 restaurants in Spain, will change the way of preparing its most iconic hamburgers, which will now be made in their own juice in order to make them tastier, while being offered in a different bread.

In its desire to implement continuous improvements in its products and maximize the enjoyment experience of its customers, McDonald’s has carried out a historic change at a global level by implementing small changes in the way of preparing and cooking its usual hamburgers with the aim of making them hotter, juicier and tastier.

This action is part of a plan launched by the company and represents a milestone for it, since it is the first time that McDonald’s has applied changes to the preparation of its classic hamburgers.

From this moment on, and in all the chain’s restaurants in Spain, Big Mac, Cuarto de Libra, Cheeseburger and McRoyal Deluxe arrive at the consumer’s table freshly made and with the usual flavor, now like never before.

According to Natalia Echeverria, Chief Marketing & Digital Officer of McDonald’s Spain, this measure has meant: “An exhaustive adaptation process in the kitchen that is made up of small modifications when preparing our consumers’ favorite hamburgers and for which they return again and again to our restaurants. The experience of our consumers is so important to us, that we seek to improve it and, this time, from the kitchens, making our usual hamburgers even better.”

New consumer experience

The measure is launched after having carried out an exhaustive survey among consumers of McDonald’s products, which indicates that 9 out of 10 consumers declare that flavor is the main reason when choosing a hamburger.

In said survey, consumers affirm that the ingredients, aroma and forcefulness are important, but the final flavor prevails over these, this being the first reason for visiting McDonald’s restaurants.

The company has listened to these consumer preferences and wanted to offer you a better experience. The result has been a new and innovative change: the implementation of a process for preparing the hamburgers, managing to further enhance the flavor so that they are hotter, juicier and tastier, without giving up their original recipe or their essence.

In addition, the hamburgers are prepared the same time they are ordered, which allows the customer to enjoy a better consumption experience.

Quality continues to play a crucial role in McDonald’s ingredients. It should be noted that the meat, 100% beef with no dyes, preservatives or additives, is now cooked in its own juice, the onion is added on the grill to intensify its flavor and the cheese is tempered before placing it on the freshly cooked meat. thus achieving its slow fade on it. The new bread and the new way of preparing it manage to further enhance the usual flavor.

This improvement is also appreciated in the preparation of fresh ingredients, such as lettuce or tomato, reducing the time on the preparation table so that they are even more crispy and fresh.

In short, these are new processes when it comes to preparing and cooking hamburgers that enhance the flavor of always, now like never before.

Spain joins this initiative that has already been launched by countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Korea.
