Mercadona will recover the Patatinas, the McDonald’s potato clone, for less than 1 euro

In recent years, social networks have positioned themselves as an indispensable element in the consumer sector. Every day, the accounts of the different companies are filled with thousands of requests about the most demanded products among consumers. Thus, Mercadona has been able to see how the Patatinas became a sales success and quickly disappeared from their shelves to the outrage of customers. A product that after running out of stock for a while, everything indicates that it will return to the forefront ready to continue succeeding among the best palates.

“We are working to restore service as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience (and please stick with it).” Under this humorous message, the Valencian food chain hinted a week ago that it would shortly recover its famous Patatinas. A product that had been sold out given its success due to flavor and qualities and that received hundreds of outrageous messages on social networks.

Hello! We are working to restore service as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience caused (and subsist, please ????). All the best.

However, a week later, Mercadona already plans to restock its shelves with this item and is preparing for another high wave of demands among potato chip lovers. In this case, the Patatinas have been widely accepted given their imitation of McDonald’s French fries since the healthiest possible ingredients are used in their preparation.

With only potatoes, salt and oil, the latter is high oleic sunflower, that is, with properties very similar to olive oil. A product that is sold for only 0.95 euros in its 120-gram bag and that has the quality of being “extra crunchy”.

Thus, with a view to recovering stock, the Hacendado brand article has changed the complaints on social networks for its ‘disappearance’ to once again have only praise for its purchase. An imitation of the most characteristic French fries from McDonald’s and which makes Mercadona one of the benchmarks for lovers of these products.
