Nasdaq 100 Index (Nasdaq 100 Index) also known as simply Nasdaq 100 is a United States stock index that includes the 100 values of the most important companies in the industry sector including hardware and software companies, telecommunications, retail retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The index can include both American and international companies.
The main indicator of the Nasdaq 100 is the Nasdaq 100 Index
This index does not include financial securities including investment companies which makes it different from other indices such as the S&P 500.
