Porcelanosa builds a factory of finished modular bathrooms for new homes

As explained by Héctor Colonques García-Planas, commercial director of the Castellón group, the new factory will have 12,000 square meters and is part of the line called Porcelanosa Offsite, in which he has been working for two years to industrialize the production of bathrooms, kitchens and facades. ventilated.

The objective is to produce these elements in its own production complex in Vila-real and deliver these spaces already assembled with all their equipment and completed to lower costs and reduce delivery times.

The modules for bathrooms, called Monobath, include both the interior finishes, furniture, sanitary ware and accessories, as well as the plumbing and electrical installations, all ready for use.

is the one that has assumed this new line of business focused on promoters. According to its commercial director, since 2017 Porcelanosa has allocated its materials to 23,000 homes through its agreements with developers.

Héctor Colonques García-Planas also pointed out that the group maintains its investment over 10,000 square meters this year. In addition, in 2023 it will expand that area for self-consumption by another 15,000 square meters.

Porcelanosa had a turnover of 820 million euros in 2021, 9.3% more, and achieved a net profit of 47.3 million. 73% of the sales of the popular tile brand came from its business outside of Spain, thanks to a network of around 400 of its own stores around the world.
