Reaper Course #9. Plugins – .com

In the ninth class of the Reaper course we are going to see the native plugins that will allow us to process the audio from our audio sessions.

And it is that despite the fact that we have recorded like a charm, we must modify that sound, either so that it “works” with the rest of the tracks or to solve a problem of origin.

For this we have a multitude of virtual processors in plugin format. Let’s see how and what they are used for. Go for it!

What is simple? It is true that we must have notions of sound to understand each parameter. We can move each potentiometer left and right to test it, but yours is to know it.

So, I encourage you to try each plugin with the multitrack that I leave you on the intranet. Add Compressors, delays, equalizers, reverb and everything you have at hand.

In the event that you need new features, there are other manufacturers that allow us to download their VST3 plugins. There is practically a plugin for every operation we have in mind. It’s all a matter of searching and trying.

In addition, you can “squeeze” each plugin to get new unique sound effects that only you will know how to use. It’s all a matter of playing around with the instruments until you discover what these plugins are capable of.

And as always, if you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the support form of the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson!
