Hello:
I give you a more than good option. If you have the store updated to vm 2.0.22 C, the most stable at the moment, you can do the following:
1º Go to virtuemart/configuracion/configuacion and in the “templates” tab look for the “media file configuration” module. Once there you activate the “activate dynamic resizing of thumbnails?” and you mark below the size you want both the height and the width.
If you go to FE you will see that nothing happens at the moment.
2º Go to the path where you have stored the VM2 images through the Explorer component, access to Cpanel, FTP,… and look for the “resized” folder in both products and categories and delete them (make a copy first in case the trabubus attack ). My path was images/stories/virtuemart/product/ and
images/stories/virtuemart/category/
This will give you the size you marked in the first step. You can resize it as many times as you want.
It has worked for me without problems and is very quick to do.
This component is getting better and better in terms of images.
