The new S-Cross, which has a starting price of 22,400 euros, mounts RBS Predictive Braking Control, a system that uses millimeter-wave radar to detect a possible collision with a vehicle in front of us.

Thus, if there is a risk of a collision, the RBS exerts a slight braking force so that the driver uses the brakes; if the risk of a collision is high and the driver presses the brakes, the system increases the braking force helping to avoid the impact or reduce the damages. In the event that a collision is unavoidable, predictive control automatically acts on the brakes to avoid the collision or reduce damage.

In addition, and like the GLX termination, the top of the range, the GLE incorporates the adaptive speed control of the Suzuki S-Cross that combines the use of Speed ​​Control and the Predictive Braking Control radar. A millimeter wave radar measures the distance to the vehicle in front. The system accelerates or reduces the speed of our vehicle to maintain the previously established safety distance (long, medium, short), thus facilitating driving.
