The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is already a reality

Bugatti has begun deliveries of its latest great model and flagship of the brand, the Chiron Super Sport to its most exclusive customers. A vehicle that represents the quintessence of luxury and speed, thanks to its W-shaped 16-cylinder engine that provides 1,600 horsepower in this version. The fastest series production car thanks to its 440 km/h.

Despite taking the name of Chiron, it is actually a completely different model, both in its external appearance and in its mechanics. Aesthetically, the great novelty is in its rear part, which has been elongated with respect to that of the conventional model. It is what is defined in the automotive sector as “longtail”, a finish cradled for years in the cars that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Bugatti is the most exclusive manufacturer, capable of making very powerful cars and of which only a few units are manufactured. The Chiron, the base model of this version that has now begun deliveries, is a super sports car. Undoubtedly the most characteristic fact is its powerful 1500 horsepower engine. Thanks to this engine, it is capable of overcoming the 400 km/h barrier with a price of around 3 million euros, without taxes.

In its exclusive interior it combines sportiness and elegance.

Well, this version is still a new step forward compared to the standard Chiron. It provides an even more powerful engine, which reaches 1,600 horsepower based on the same W-shaped 16-cylinder engine. Thanks to its 8-liter displacement and its four turbochargers, larger than those used in the original version, this increase is achieved of power. With this, its maximum speed reaches 440 km/h, if there is anywhere you can go at this speed, beyond the Volkswagen Group test circuit, to which Bugatti belongs.

Logically, all the vehicle’s systems, including its transmission, its dual-clutch gearbox or its brake equipment, have been optimized and reinforced for this increase in power. The car is manufactured by hand at the brand’s headquarters in Molsheim and represents the “rien ne va plus” in the automotive sector.
