Disney has finally brought the long-awaited Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to life. After more than 6 months ago, the company announced the launch of the first hotel inspired by the universe of George Lucas, this galaxy far, far away will open its doors to the public on March 1st.

The complex, which is located within the Walt Disney World facilities, will combine the experience of a theme park, with the lodging of a luxury hotel and the adventure of a role-playing game.

Of course, the experience will not be for all audiences. A two-night accommodation will cost a whopping $6,000 for a family of four, even for one of the cheapest options.

Disney’s intention is to project an immersive experience, where guests sit aboard the Halcyon interstellar cruise ship. Two nights in which the public will be able to enjoy live theater, team games, flight exercises with panoramic and hyper-realistic views of space and, of course, training in the art of handling the lightsaber.

Guests will be able to choose one of the 100 cabins for their stay. However, these interstellar cruise passengers will not be able to enjoy windows. Instead, they’ll have to make do with images projected across the room of stars, planets, and asteroid showers.

Are you an evil Sith or a brave Jedi?
It should be noted that the ‘trip’ will have a slight mishap, the guest will have to face a war for control of the galaxy. Throughout the stay, the application will collect information to find out if the client should be part of the rebel army of the Resistance or the combat squad of the First Order, as if it were Harry Potter’s magic hat.

Also, whoever boards the cruise ship should know that there will be no room for quiet, as crew members could ask them to deliver a secret message or help fix a fuel leak in the engine room.

For this, it will be best to dress according to the needs of the journey, which is why you can also access an accessories store, where you will find the most representative outfits.

On the other hand, the stay includes a visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where they will be able to access the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area of the park, as well as more than 40 special dishes, somewhat extravagant, inspired by the famous saga, such as “shrimp blue of the dense jungles of Felucia”.

Finally, Halcyoin passengers will be able to add to their itineraries the activities that best suit the experience they had imagined, such as a trip to the planet Batuu, learning to play Sabacc, building a model ship or participating in a droid race.

And how could it be otherwise, after a long day freeing the galaxy from the dark side, guests can enjoy a drink in the Sublight Lounge. It should be noted, unfortunately for Star Wars lovers, that tickets to board this ship will be sold out for the next three months.
