WhatsApp, the most popular instant messaging application on the planet, is once again preparing a modification that will change the experience of many of its users.
This time it is the option to ‘pin chats’, which is equivalent to using the ‘pin’ to pin certain conversations to the top of the device screen (for the time being, with a maximum of three).
In this way, it would be possible to have available at first glance those contacts and groups that one wishes, without necessarily having to be the last ones with which one has had interaction.
The novelty has been incorporated for the first time in the beta version 2.17.105 for Android, although it is still disabled by default and we will have to wait for later versions to see its use normally.
This functionality, which has been available for some time in other instant messaging apps such as Telegram, is useful for users with a lot of WhatsApp activity who want to prioritize certain conversations for some reason considered important over others that may have more activity, but this is inconsequential.
