The ice cream manufacturing companies with the highest turnover in Spain

The 218 companies included in the ‘Ice cream production’ sector recorded a turnover of 698 million euros in 2017, according to the Ranking of Companies produced by , brand of , (CESCE subsidiary), leader in the provision of Commercial, Financial, Sector and Marketing, published by elEconomista. The first ten concentrate 81% of sales with 563 million euros.

, is placed first on the list with a turnover of 181 million euros in 2017. Of its 793 employees, 100% are permanent. The company is ranked 1,022 in the national ranking, and eleventh in its province, Álava. Its assets total 280 million euros. Froneri combines the synergies of the food manufacturer Nestlé and R&R, a leader in the production of ice cream. Present in more than 20 countries, its products include brands such as Maxibon, Pirulo, Extreme, Nuii, Oreo, Milka or Toblerone.

Ice Cream Factory CO Maker SA repeats as second. ICFC began in 2003 integrating the ice cream factory of the old company AVIDESA founded in 1964. It has currently expanded to five continents. Evolution

Among the ten companies with the highest turnover in the ‘Ice cream production’ sector, eight improved their sales compared to the previous year. The cuts are 48% for fourth-ranked Grupo Kalise, SA and 2% for Crestas la Galeta SA.
