The Lidl shelf for less than 10 euros that will rival those of Ikea

The supermarket chain Lidl has launched a ‘low cost’ shelving model for sale that could stand up to such a common alternative for this type of furniture such as Ikea. This is a new attempt by the German brand to gain a foothold in the market through immersions in niches far from food.

With a competitive price of 9.99 euros, the cube shelving set is made up of three modules in three different sizes. They can be combined in the way that the buyer wants, since they have individual and rear supports to secure them to the wall, which allows all the combinations that are desired in the home.

In black and white, they can now be purchased on the Lidl website and from February 11 they will be available for purchase in the company’s physical stores. This pack of shelves has three sizes (24x24x11.7 for the small, 27x27x11.7 for the medium and 30x30x11.7 for the large). The weight for these models is 900 grams, 1.01 kilos and 1.15 kilos, respectively.

In short, this new launch is one more that Lidl has been carrying out with a view to attracting a percentage of buyers who have traditionally turned to firms such as Ikea to satisfy their furniture needs.

Thus, in the Lidl catalog there are already other models of shelves that bear certain similarities with some of Lidl and have significantly lower prices. This is the case of the ladder-shaped shelf, which at a price of 59.99 competes with the Ikea Hasvta model, at 145 euros.

Also the one with the four-module shelf at 39.99 euros, which performs very similar functions to the Ikea Eket, which costs 45 euros.
