Like every year, Forbes publishes the list of women in the world to work for. To carry it out, the specialized magazine has consulted data from the Statista platform, based on surveys conducted anonymously among 150,000 employees in 58 countries.
Workers were asked directly if they would recommend their company. In addition, the companies in the sector and issues such as gender equality, the company’s corporate social responsibility or employment projection were analyzed.
For yet another year, the best company in the world to work for remains Samsung, followed by IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Alphabet, Dell Technologies, Huawei, Adobe and BMW. Of these top ten, seven are from the United States, one from South Korea, one from China and one from Germany.
By sectors, the companies with the greatest representation are engineering and manufacturing, although the top 10 concentrates a large number of technology companies, such as Samsung, IBM or Microsoft. In the total count, 236 companies belong to the US, 91 to Germany and 57 to China.
The first Spanish company is the airline IAG (Anglo-Spanish) and is in position 151. The next is the technology company Amadeus IT Group, which occupies position 237, followed by the construction company Grupo CAF in 324 on the list.
